WMSC joins forces with the Food Bank of Waterloo Region Apr 28, 2010

On Saturday, May 15th, Waterloo Minor Soccer Club members will join with the Food Bank of Waterloo Region to bring in 150,000 lbs of food in a one day food drive.

Teams will canvas local areas and assist at food drop off points in the City. The Food Bank will coordinate the team assignments so players, coaches, members are asked to contact the Food Bank directly at 519-743-5576 for instructions. Please contact the Food bank by May 4th to confirm your team's participation.

Players are asked to wear your WMSC soccer jerseys for this event. Thanks to everyone for their support in this community project.

A volunteer Barbeque will be provided at Food Bank Headquarters (50 Alpine Court, Kitchener) from 12:00 to 3:00 P.M.
