Rep. Team Uniform Ordering Procedure 2013
Please complete the following steps to ensure that your team’s uniforms and equipment are ordered correctly.
- Book your sizing appointment.
- Complete and submit your Uniform Sizing Form by the deadline
- Complete and submit your Specific Numbering Forms by the deadline
- Submit your sponsor logo(s) in the proper format by the deadline.

2013 Rep. Uniform Ordering Procedure Attention Waterloo Coaches and Managers,
Please complete the following steps to ensure that your team’s uniforms and equipment are ordered correctly.
- Book your sizing appointment.
- Complete and submit your Uniform Sizing Form by the deadline (see attached).
- Complete and submit your Specific Numbering & Embroidery Form(s) by the deadline (see attached).
- Submit your sponsor logo(s) in the proper format & by the deadline.
The player uniforms for the 2013 season will remain the same as last year. Some of the training apparel has changed. Refer to the display board which was handed out at the last meeting to view all the styles. Sizing appointments will be available for each team and will be held at The Sports Link. No individual appointments will be accepted. Please call or e-mail our office starting Monday January 7th to book your team’s 1/2 hour time slot. Sizing appointments will be available from Monday January 14th to Saturday January 26th between the following hours:
Monday – Wednesday - 9:00am - 8:00pm (Extended hours for sizing ONLY)
Thursday & Friday - 9:00am - 8:00pm
Saturday - 10:00am - 6:00pm
- As the time slot is only 1/2 hour, please ensure that you are on time for your appointment.
- We recommend that you bring a few players from your team to assist you with sizing (i.e. 1 smaller player, 1
- average player, and 1 bigger player).
- Please have a manager or team representative at the appointment to record players orders.

All uniform order forms must be submitted by Wednesday January 30th
Specific Numbering Requests: Only numbers 1-20 are appropriate for the jerseys. Please submit your team’s corresponding jersey sizes and numbers by Friday February 1st 2013. If we do not receive specific numbers by this date, we will select them for you. SORRY NO EXCEPTIONS!
Sponsor Logo(s): All sponsor information must be submitted by Friday March 1st 2013. If specific screening colors are not provided, the sponsor logo(s) will be screened as follows. (Black logo(s) on yellow jersey & white logo on black jersey). Logos are only permitted on the front or sleeves. NO LOGOS ON THE BACK! Only one sponsor logo is to be placed on the front. In previous years teams have grouped 2-3 companies and had them printed. This will NOT be allowed for the 2013 season.
Artwork Specifications:
- Logos submitted in JPG, TIF, BITMAP, PNG, GIF, MICROSOFT WORD/EXCEL, POWERPOINT, PCX, files are NOT acceptable formats and are subject to an artwork charge of $30/hour. If logo(s) are sent in any of these formats the team will be billed accordingly.
- Only vector artwork in Adobe Illustrator 9, Corel Draw 12 or lower is considered order ready. Artwork must be provided in spot colors and all text converted to curves.
Payment Procedures:
ALL payments will be made directly to The Sports Link at the time of pick-up. An invoice will be issued 24-48 hours prior to the scheduled pick-up appointment and a copy will be e-mailed for your approval. Payments are to be made by team cheque or credit card.
Helpful Hints:
- Make sure all deadlines are met.
- When sending e-mails PLEASE indicate your teams age group in the subject line. e.g. Waterloo U12A Boys
- If you think you will require extra uniform items especially jerseys please order them. The cost of screening one jersey is outrageous.
- Double check all orders and forms prior to submitting.
- One color screening logos are the easiest and most cost effective.
- You may submit your forms prior to the deadline if you have them done.
